Beef tallow has a long history in skincare. For us, however, tradition was just the beginning.
We didn't just want to create another heavy beef tallow balm. We wanted to take the richness of lipid care and turn it into a modern premium face cream – with a fine texture, fast absorption, and a silky feel that doesn't leave the skin feeling heavy.
Thus, TALLOW SQUALANE was born - an anhydrous formula of five carefully selected ingredients, designed so that each one has a clear role both in the formula and in the feel on the skin.
The texture was the hardest part
Creating a rich anhydrous formula is one thing.
Making it light, elegant, and pleasant for daily application is quite another.
TALLOW SQUALANE is built entirely from lipid components and oils, but upon contact with the skin, it melts, spreads with ease, and absorbs extremely quickly.
No sticky layer.
No heavy greasy film.
No unpleasant shiny finish.
What remains is a feeling of soft, smooth, and comfortably nourished skin with a fresh and radiant look.
It was precisely this balance between rich formula and silky light finish that was the goal that took us months of work.
1. Purified beef tallow - the rich lipid base
Beef tallow is the heart of TALLOW SQUALANE.
It contains a natural complex of fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and stearic acid, which build the rich lipid character of the raw material.
Naturally, small amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K can also be present in beef tallow – another reason why this traditional raw material attracts so much interest in modern cosmetics.
But for us, its true value is in what we feel on the skin: density, softness, nourishment, and a protected sensation, without the need for the formula to be heavy.
Beef tallow gives us the richness.
The following ingredients allowed us to perfect it.
2. Plant squalane from olives - the lightness in a rich formula
Squalane is one of the keys to the characteristic texture of TALLOW SQUALANE.
It is an extremely light emollient with a smooth, silky feel and is well known in modern cosmetics precisely for its ability to soften the skin, support its hydrated feeling, and improve how the formula spreads. Scientific reviews describe squalane as an emollient and an ingredient with hydrating properties.
In our formula, it has one more extremely important role:
it makes the rich lipid base significantly finer to the touch.
The result is a cream that glides onto the skin and leaves an elegant, almost satin finish instead of the typical feel of a heavy balm.
3. Jojoba oil - wax esters for softness and balance
Jojoba is technically not a typical vegetable oil – it is rich in liquid wax esters.
It is precisely this structure that makes it so interesting for cosmetic formulas.
Jojoba is widely used in moisturizers and skincare products and has a well-documented role as an ingredient in cosmetic formulas.
In TALLOW SQUALANE, it adds:
softness, smoothness, and an even finer application.
Beef tallow brings the richness.

4. Vitamin E - antioxidant protection for the formula
Vitamin E is not added just because it looks good on the ingredient list.
It is a valuable antioxidant and has an important role in lipid formulas like ours.
It helps protect sensitive lipid components from oxidation and complements the overall feeling of maintained and soft skin.
For us, vitamin E is exactly what an ingredient in a minimalist formula should be:
small in quantity, but meaningful in function.
5. Jasmine extract - the final signature of TALLOW SQUALANE
Jasmine is the final detail that turned the formula from just a cream into a product with character.
We didn't want a heavy perfume scent.
We wanted something gentle, clean, and recognizable – a scent that is perceived during application but does not dominate the experience.
Jasmine extract gives TALLOW SQUALANE its delicate, elegant aroma and turns the daily application into a small ritual.
